Our rabbit Dandelion passed away last night. Today is kind of rainy and depressing. I had everyone stay home today (besides myself) so they can pseudo-function. I'm pretty much ready to get this day over and done.
It will still be a long day, though. Have AWANAS tonight.

History and the Bible
Just put the kids to bed. Katie asked me if I remembered what she talked about yesterday. I just kind of stood there with a blank look on my face because I had no idea what she was talking about. In school, she was taught a little about the Bible and what Christian, Jews, and Muslims believe. I guess that there are going to be more questions.
New Year Update
Well, here we are. I have to apologize for not being on here in the last several months. We have had a reasonably uneventful school year so far. Matthew is having difficulty keeping focused and Katie is being chased by the boys. We didn't go anywhere for Christmas because we were all in Journey to Bethlehem again this year. I really like doing that. It was a VERY successful turn-out, over 200 visitors and at least one person was saved, hurray!
Speaking of Christmas, I now have a radio in my car again ... after not having one for about 2 1/2 years. Actually, that isn't completely accurate, I had a radio that only picked up AM. There is only so much talk radio that you can put up with, though, I do like Beck in the morning and Michael Berry in the afternoon.
Work is slow. My boss and I are the only employees of the company. Everyone else has moved on and we just haven't replaced them. That actually worked out really well, considering that we have had the worst December ... Ever. It can only get better and so I am just going to hang in there. God isn't going to throw anything at me that I cannot handle. I just need to have faith that it is all going to work out, and I do.
I am reading the Bible out loud to the family before bed ... except tonight, I have no voice and I sound very squeaky. I'll just have to read two days worth tomorrow. Katie asked me why her school isn't teaching history like the Bible. I had to explain the Theory of Evolution and how it is JUST a theory. I could really use some prayer on that.
