Well, things are interesting at the Neveu household. Kelle's birthday is in a few days (I was told not to spend any more money on her). What can I do? She is my beautiful bride. Anyway. This being the first entry onto my blog, I don't really know what to put here.
I am truly annoyed about something, so I'll write about that. We have recently made an appointment for my son to find out what some of his allergies are. The doctor's office called a few days ago and RESCHEDULED the appointment. We have had to have my son pee in a cup, where they will probably stockpile it for some sort of weapon of mass distruction or something. He still has one more test to do, he has to stay off of some particular foods for a week, then we FedEx the container to a doctor somewhere ... anyway, we timed it so the appointment would be AFTER the final test is sent out. I think that just makes sense, if you want to find out the results of a test, you TAKE THE TEST FIRST. Then you have your appointment and the doctor gives you the results. They reschedule the appointment to be a week earlier (cup hasn't been peed in at this point), and, without telling us or getting any input at all, proceed with the reschedule.
Kelle called the doctor's office and they tell him that the next available appointment is in ... get ready for it ... three months.
?WHAT?
My wife goes back and forth with them, telling this woman on the phone that it doesn't make sense to "keep this appointment" and "you changed the schedule, why do I have to suffer for it" and what-not. The woman asks if she would like to reschedule, my wife says yes, next available is in ... four months.
... I don't know what to say.
Happy birthday, honey. Don't worry, the headache eventually goes away.
